Medal of Honor Convention 2014 held in Knoxville
It was my amazing privilege to represent Knoxville on the floral team for the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention. The team had some incredible members participating, including Event Designer Michael Speir and Floral Designers Jean-pascal Lemire and David Vodola. The flowers’ colors corresponded wonderfully with the Medal of Honor neck ribbons worn by each recipient. We worked long hours on this event all week and the pay-off was worth it! It was so humbling to make each arrangement as perfect as possible for these extraordinary recipients.
The convention was created by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society, which is made up of living Medal of Honor recipients to honor all recipients. The Medal of Honor is the highest award bestowed by the U.S. government, and we were honored to be a part of this event. Check out their website and spread the word on this great event so it can be just as great when it’s hosted in Boston!
